Privacy Policy

Who we are and what this policy covers

SpaceRx LLC operates Scouten. Contact support@scouten.ai or write to SpaceRx LLC, 312 W 2nd St PMB 3294, Casper, WY 82601. This policy explains information handled through Scouten’s website, accounts, property monitoring, business research and enabled outreach services. It covers both account users and people whose information appears in our records. A customer’s independent use of information is also subject to that customer’s own responsibilities and notices.

Information and sources

Account and service information includes names, work contact details, organization and role, sign-in activity, selected trades and territories, properties, workspace membership, subscription status and support correspondence. Stripe processes payment details; Scouten receives payment references and status rather than full card numbers.

Customer-supplied information may include audiences, contact lists, property documents, notes, campaign content and authorized reports. Do not submit sensitive information unnecessary for the service. Some fields may identify individuals, sole proprietors, officers, managers or property owners even when connected to business activity.

Public-record and business research information may include property and mailing addresses, parcel identifiers, owner names, permits, code cases, company and licensing records, officer or manager names, business roles, business contact emails and phone numbers, websites and publicly available professional or social-profile links. Sources may include government records, business websites, public business directories, customer submissions and other identified sources. Public availability does not necessarily remove privacy rights or make every reuse appropriate.

We may derive relationships, match records, classify businesses and assess contact or source confidence using software and, where enabled, AI-assisted tools. We retain evidence and source information where supported so a result can be reviewed. Inferences and scores can be wrong; they are not guarantees of identity, consent or deliverability.

Technical and delivery information may include IP address, device/browser information, security and usage logs, session cookies, message delivery and failure events, replies, opt-outs and, where the relevant feature is enabled, email opens or link clicks. Opening and click measurements can be affected by email software and are not always reliable. Essential session technologies support sign-in and security; additional tracking must be described and managed according to the applicable settings and law.

How we use information

We use information to provide the selected service; organize and match records; display source dates and confidence; manage accounts and billing; generate requested reports and alerts; carry out authorized outreach; process delivery events, replies and suppression requests; respond to support and rights requests; detect misuse; maintain security and reliability; and meet legal obligations. We may use aggregated or appropriately de-identified service measurements to improve performance, without representing identifiable private workspace information as public data.

We do not authorize use of Scouten to make decisions about credit, insurance, employment or housing eligibility. Our records and confidence assessments are intended for the property and business uses described in the Terms, not consumer eligibility screening.

Workspaces and authorized sharing

Private workspace material is intended for authorized members and permitted service operations, not unrestricted access by other customers. Account administrators control supported membership and permissions. We use access controls designed to separate workspaces, but no system can guarantee perfect security.

Public or independently sourced records can appear in more than one customer’s results. That is different from sharing a customer’s private notes, documents or communications. If you request a report share or property-history transfer, we disclose only the information and recipients covered by the supported, authorized request. A property sale alone does not authorize transfer of private account content or third-party information. We may verify authority and limit a transfer to protect others’ rights. Supported features and access permissions determine what is available.

Providers and other disclosures

We use service providers for hosting, storage, authentication, payments, delivery and related operations. The core service uses Supabase, Vercel, Stripe and Resend. Enabled physical-mail workflows use Lob; enabled campaign workflows may use Instantly; enabled contact-assessment workflows may use TypeSafe’s Jev. A named optional provider does not mean that feature is active or that every record is sent to it. Information should be limited to what the enabled operation requires and governed by appropriate provider arrangements. Ask support about the providers relevant to your service.

We disclose information to people you authorize, to providers performing service operations, and when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights or investigate misuse. Information may be transferred in a merger, acquisition or business reorganization subject to applicable protections and notice requirements. This policy does not authorize unrelated affiliated brands to access private workspace data merely because they share ownership or infrastructure.

Scouten provides paid access to property and business information. Depending on the information and applicable law, disclosure through a paid service may be treated as a sale or another regulated disclosure of personal information. We do not rely on a blanket claim that all business information is exempt. Contact us to request that information about you be reviewed, corrected, suppressed, or excluded from eligible disclosures. Where applicable law requires additional notices, opt-out mechanisms or recognized preference signals, those obligations apply; this statement does not replace them.

Communications and choices

You can manage available alerts and unsubscribe using the link or other opt-out method provided in a message, or contact support. We may still send necessary account, security, billing or requested support messages. Marketing preferences do not erase existing legal obligations or necessarily delete account information. A workspace administrator may configure supported recipients, but must have authority to do so.

People contacted through customer campaigns can use the provided opt-out mechanism or contact the identified sender. You may also notify Scouten of suspected misuse or ask us to review a record. We use suppression information to help prevent prohibited re-contact; deleting every trace of an opt-out could undermine that purpose. Public contact information is not itself consent to marketing.

Retention and security

We retain information for the purposes described here, considering whether it remains needed to provide the service, the nature and source of the record, source freshness, account status, outstanding requests, security and audit needs, disputes, and legal or accounting requirements. Our retention policy is to delete, de-identify or restrict information when it is no longer needed for a legitimate purpose. Public-source history, private workspace content, billing records, security logs and suppression records may have different retention needs. A request to delete an account does not necessarily require deletion of independently held public records or information subject to a lawful exception.

We use administrative and technical safeguards intended to protect information and restrict access. No online service is completely secure. Avoid submitting sensitive information the service does not require. We address security incidents and provide notices when required by applicable law. Copies in backups may remain until normal replacement, subject to appropriate restrictions, rather than disappear immediately from every system.

Access correction deletion and other rights

Contact support@scouten.ai with the information or account concerned and the action requested. Depending on your location, our role, the information and applicable law, rights may include access, correction, deletion, a copy or portability, objection or restriction, and opt-out of certain sales, sharing, targeted advertising or profiling. Some laws permit an authorized agent or an appeal of a denied request. We will assess requests under the law that applies, explain applicable limitations and provide any required appeal or complaint information.

We may ask for proportionate information to verify identity and authority and protect others’ information. Do not send unnecessary identification documents or sensitive information. We will respond within the period required by applicable law and explain a lawful extension or refusal where required. You will not be unlawfully discriminated against for exercising a protected privacy right. Correcting a Scouten display does not change the source government record; we may direct you to the source for that correction.

Children locations and changes

Scouten is a business service for adults and is not intended for children under 18. Contact us if you believe a child has submitted personal information. Service providers may process information in the United States and other locations where they operate, subject to applicable transfer requirements; this policy does not promise exclusively domestic storage.

We will update this policy when practices change and identify the effective version. Material changes will receive appropriate notice and any consent required by law. Contact support@scouten.ai with privacy questions or complaints.
